New technologies in Education 2025+
The main objective of the project is to promote the use of modern technologies in teaching not only in the partner primary and secondary schools, but also throughout the European Union. In particular, the use of technologies such as 360-degree videos and photographs and their display through virtual reality goggles.
The main objective of the project will be achieved through the creation of support materials for teachers, consisting of:
– Manuals/guides for creating 360-degree educational videos and photos
– Instructions – how to prepare a lesson using 360-degree videos and photos
– A collection of educational 360-degree videos and photos, useful for a variety of subjects
The mentioned objectives and outputs are directly linked to the main priorities of the programme, which are:
– support for educators (the project will create support for educators in the implementation of 360-degrees videos and photos and technology of virtual reality – specifically, supporting materials and tools will be created)
– support for the development of key competences and, in particular, support for competences in digital technologies. The project contributes directly to the development of these areas by targeting the use of new technology that brings entirely new possibilities for pupils and teachers in education.
An important goal of the project is also to support inclusion in schools by making educational content accessible to students with fewer opportunities. This is because tools will be developed that will enable pupils with, for example physical,geographical or social disadvantages to see, visit in virtual reality, or obtain information about places, natural phenomena, fauna, and flora that they would not have the chance to experience or to visit due to their disabilities.
